who am i? #
i am the kind of person that would do low-level web engineering stuffs, like playing around with webgpu or webcodecs for example. i have strong interests in art, design, music, stage-related stuffs and, well, anything that's cool really. currently, i am working on libre software (i don't want to say "free and open source software" because people got misleaded into thinking i am giving software away for no fee, when in reality, it's all about freedom rather than free of charge, but if someone knows exactly what "free" in "free and open source" means then sure i'd go along, no problems).
i am still unemployed.
projects #
- Nahara's Organization — an organization where we make artworks and software or technology for artworks. currently lead by me.
tech stack #
my tech stack is not special to be honest. you can just skip this section entirely.

programming languages — let's be real here: it doesn't matter which programming language i use. they are all the same, just with different perspective (or you know, different way of seeing things). i think the more important aspect of programming language is how nice it is to use high-level concepts, while giving user an escape hatch to go low-level when they needed to. javascript was designed as a high-level language, but recently, there has been attempts at making it "low-level" with the introduction of webgpu and webcodecs, both of which requires low-level knowledge to even use. but if you still want to know which languages i use then here they are:
- typescript — web-related stuffs and Deno (Deno is kinda goated ngl)
- java — java 25 because 8 is a pain. best i know is minecraft modding with a bit of class manipulation at bytecode level. no i do not know about spring boot please do not ask me about it.
- rust — rust in theory is a cool language, and i'd want to write more rust if i have a chance. too bad the dependencies are not at the level of c++ libraries.
- c — i use c for microcontrollers, because there is no alternatives (other than rust i guess).
-
libraries/frameworks — frameworks are basically just libraries to be honest. you get them like regular libraries and use them just like libraries. that said, there are libraries that definitely requires knowledge to even use properly. in my opinion, a good framework is a framework that one can just learn and use properly by just reading docs.
- web platform — not exactly a framework, but it's a nice platform. i wish other platforms/languages would have stdlib as good as web platform.
- fabric (minecraft mod loader)
- low-level graphics — webgpu and opengl. i could try to use vulkan, but ideally i want to use webgpu since the DX is much better than vulkan, but i also want to jump down to vulkan from webgpu when i need something important.
- deno — deno does what nodon't (node don't).
non-tech stack #
tech is cool and all, but i don't just write code all the time. i also do some artworks when i am bored too. you can even see some of them in my bsky profile.
- krita — krita is GOATED. the default brush bundle is absolute peak. this is literally the raster drawing app that i use the most.
- inkscape — i primarily do design works in inkscape. it's a nice program for vector graphics, but it's also quite laggy sometimes.
- figma — figma is nice if you are subscribed to professional plan. but you know, i am unemployed, so no figma professional plan for me.
- davinci resolve — i only have the free-of-charge version of davinci resolve, but damn, just that alone is already quite powerful. one day i will buy the studio version, just wait.
